Has anyone out here that's using the new Futaba 14MZ / 12MZ radio systems tried using a whip antenna on the new receiver yet?.....I've been using the Hayes, and the Revolution whips on my 9ZWC2 for years with great success.....I like to use the whips in my turbine models because it makes locating the radio and turbine components inside the model so much easier and cleaner.....

This is the Futaba Support Forum. We cannot recommend any alteration at all from the factory stock configuration, or configurations recommended by Futaba. Changing parts on any of the system's components to non-stock configurations would not only void your warranty, but likely cause difficulties regarding any liability.
