9V buddy box connector
Dear Bax;
I have an old 9VHP transmitter that I thought would be ideal to use with my XTR simulator. I wired the DSC cable to the XTR cable and all is well. Unfortunately, the location of the DIN jack on the 9V is exactly where my hand wants to be. This must have enraged many people trying to use the buddy box with the 9V (hence the 9Z jack in the center of the back).
Do you have a low profile right angle 7 (or 5) pin DIN connector to fix this problem ? Do you know where I can find one ? Buddy Box or DSC cable with a right angle connector on each end ?
The usual internet search turned up one at DigiKey which still sticks out about 18mm.
