Default FP-R127DF high or low???

i was givin a box full of older futaba gear from someone in our club . he told me he switched to JR years ago and was tired of this stuff sitting around. He told me to put it to good use if i could.

most of the stuff was really old but i think alot of it i can use if i change the leads on it.

MY problem is that i found a brand new fp-127df reciever in the box. i took it to him and asked if he new it was in the box? he said yes he knew it was there and he knew it was worth a little money but said he just didnt have time to mess with selling it.

it had no crystal in it and he told me he dosnt have any idea what channel it was on. well that is my question. how to tell from low band or high?

the only sticker on it is the fcc number and made in taiwan.

if any one knows please let me know. .................thanks cantw8tofly

Look inside where the xtal goes, if there is a red dot, it's high band, no red dot..low band

Next to the crystal socket will be a red dot if the receiver is high-band, no dot if the receiver is low-band.
