Default G3?

I am looking into the 12Z with the G3 system. I have heard some rumors that there have been problems with the G3 locking out in the past, I was just wondering if the problems have been resolved if they are true.

The Futaba 12Z transmitter works fine with the RealFlight G3 simulator. The 12Z transmitter must be set to PPM mode, and then you must run the simulator's calibration routine.

Lockups happen if you have a computer system that's not adequate to run the G3 simulator, or you have improperly configured something.

Futaba won’t admit to fixing there G-3 receivers problems because that would be admitting they had a problem. If you have a problem don’t expect any real support just lip service!

PLease see our sticky:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3488488/tm.htm

The factory now ships the R5014DPS receiver with the 55 cm antenna. If you have a long antenna, please follow the steps in the 'sticky'.

Please be aware that things in the model that can cause electrical noise can cause difficulties in reception. Noisy bearings, vibrating carbon frames, antenna inside a carbon structure, bad pushrod routing, and so on. The receiver antenna must get a clear "view" of the transmitter without obstructions.
