I have been going through the online manual for the 12z,,,and trying to underestand the wingsetup for a plane that will have a 4 ailerons servos(2 in each half),,,and I'm kind of confused when they call on the manual:
4ailerons, 4 flaps,,,,is that what it means???/ a 4 aileron servo setup??? 2 ailerons servos on ech half wing????
another question I haven't seen any 2 rudder servo setup???/ can that be done as with the aileron servo setup????

Hi charrua,
The best way I believe to explain it is to check the drawings associated with each wing type. If you are using 4 servos, two per wing, then you are going to want to use the wing type listed as 2Ail + 2Flp, this will of course equal 4 servos. If you are using 4 servos per wing, for a total of 8 servos, then you will want to choose 4Ail + 4Flp..
There are three tail types allowed in the 12Z, none of the three are for dual rudders, although this could be accomplished through mixing.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Hi quist,
He could, but he was asking about wing type, if I understand your post correctly, I think you may be referring to the function menu, which he wasn't asking about.
Thanks, Krysta

Krysta, Why wouldn't you use aileron on two channels and aileron2 on two channels?
