I have looked in the manual and see how to change timer
S1 and S2, but how do you reset the main timer? It just keeps increasing time as the radio is on. I turned it off and recharged it thinking it would reset at charging, but it did not. What obvious thing am I missing?

Just did not read the instructions closely enough. I found the answer myself. Timer is now reset to zero.
