From: New Orleans, LA,
I plan on sending in my 6XAS sometime soon (check-up/tuning), and I was wondering if it is required that I send in my servos and switch harness. They are standard servos and a hassle to remove.
Another question(kinda stupid :stupid: ): what Rx would you recommend that I send in? The one with more flight time(30 or so flights), or the one that I plan to use more from now on(1 flight)? They are both R127DF. Thanks for the help. Ed

Hi Ed,
My name is Krysta and I work in Futaba Service. I will be happy to answer your questions.
First, unless you are having a problem with or suspect a problem with your servos, there is no need to send them into the service center with your transmitter.
Second, since you are sending this in for a "checkup" I would recommend sending both receivers in also. This way you can make sure that there are no problems with either one.I hope you find this information helpful. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at 217-398-8970 for Support, 217-398-0007 for Service or via fax at 217-398-7721 or by email at [email protected].
Sincerely,
Krysta

Hi Ed,
The price of a check-out for a single receiver is $15.00. This includes range testing, vibration testing, cleaning, and retuning.
