What are the diffences between these two setups that make the 70 dollar price difference. ?
I am looking into getting one of them the week as an upgrade for my Eclipse.

Hi Azziza,
The 9C Heli version is the same transmitter as the Air version in as far as the programming in the transmitter itself. The sticks will be different and the switches are different.
The main cost difference in the Heli version is that it comes with a more "heavy duty" battery and different servos, which are more suited to heli flight.
You can check out the Futaba Web page at:
http://www.futaba-rc.com/radios/futj85.html
at the very bottom of this page, it will show you the different items that come with the systems and the stock numbers for them.
I hope you find this information helpful. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at 217-398-8970 for Support, 217-398-0007 for Service or via fax at 217-398-7721 or by email at [email protected].

Ahh ok I see... Thanks
Now for one more stupid question.
Is it possible to purchase just the Transmitter. I already have Servos coming out of my ears. If this is the case what would it run? I checked on Tower but could not find anything.
By the way. Nice name

Hi Azizza...
Unfortunately, no, we do not sell the 9C as the transmitter only. Our units are sold as complete systems only.
You may want to check around to see if anyone has a used one that they would consider parting out. Or you can check your local swap meet.
And thanks.....Krysta
