A fellow in my club, who doesn't do "computer stuff" has had his 7CAP go dead on him. He charged it and when the charge was finished it has no display and seems to be dead. Is there a fuse or a reset for this transmitter?

Without seeing the transmitter, we'd not know why it "died". There could be any number of reasons it's not operating. It should be sent to the service center.
