Servo Test under Servo Monitor of 12FGH
Recently I have purchased the 12FGH to upgrade my present 9CAP. After I have read through the manual, I setup for Whisper, a glider with v-tail as follows:-
Glider with 2 ail and v-tail.
In Function menu I have assigned Channel 1 for aileron J1,
Channel 2 for aileron2,
Channel 3 for elevator J4 and
Channel 4 for rudder J3.
In servo monitor menu I see there is everything is normal when I move the stick for aileron, elevator and rudder. In Servo Test under Servo monitor, I start Servo Test by entering “Moving”, three servos would move except channel 4 rudder J3. If I set the tail under normal option i.e. rudder, elevator not v-tail, all four servos would move simultaneously under Servo Test.
I am wondering is it normal under v-tail of Servo Test?

RE: Servo Test under Servo Monitor of 12FGH
Hi bigman,
Yes, this is normal as when you selected V-tail, your rudder servo is linked to your Elevator. So while you only see the elevator moving in servo test, your rudder servo is still fine.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
