Default Futaba 9Z rudder travel problem. Pls help before I send this in.

Hi

I bought a good condition, used Futaba 9Z Heli, WC2 version and had about 3 months without any problem.
And one day, the rudder travel is so tiny, I can barely see my plane's rudder moving.
I looked at 9Z screen and the rudder travel arrow moves small amount of travel.
Physically, control stick moves fine.
And, this happens to all models and I also checked D/R and ATV related programming and they are all set to 100% travel.
I called Futaba Tech and he thinks it's the gimble in the rudder needs replacement.
But, I'd like to try my best not to send this in because I can not fly for at least for 3 weeks.
Please help where I should check or debug

Thanks.

I came back home I tapped the 9Z to my palm about 5 times, and the rudder travel cames back to normal.
What does this mean ???

Hi Jake,

I have a 9Z WC2, but airplane system. Did you try to totally reset the model you is using? Access MDL function, then RST. Select ALL, then Yes and End. This operation will completely reset the model. Try move the rudder and see the operation in Servo Test (Bar Graph Display).

I tried reset and the problem still existed.

If you tap the transmitter and it works, then the problem is physical, and you should send it to the service center.
