Default Futaba 3fr Fm Radio

I have a new Futaba 3FR FM system. I was wondering what the range of the transmitter is. I have changed receivers to the r127, and have kept the R114 for my slope flyer. I seem to recall the range of the R114 to be 1500 ft. The reason I ask this question is that I use the system in my 2meter sailplane and need to know how far or high I can fly before I encounter problems.

Thanks
Steve

H Steve,

If you use the R127DF with the 3FR, the range will be the normal range of the R127DF. The amount of that range is not something that we cannot accurately answer, as there are many variables.
But a good answer as to the length would be "as far as the eye can see".
