How is the Futaba Fasst system different from the DSM2 system? Also, are the Futaba 2.4 receivers as reliable as the Spektrum receivers with a remote receiver as well?

I have been flying my fasst system since it came out without a glitch or bobble on the 6 and 7 chanel recievers. The fasst system uses the whole 2.4gh spectrum instead of just 2 chanels like the DSM2, with think fast read ahead technology. The US government has been using the Fasst system for years and the Futaba radios are using the same technology. Now I do have issues with not being able to use my 6&7 recievers with my 14mz when the modules get here, I do hope they have a software upgrade that will make this posable in time.
You can go to the Futaba site and read about the 2.4 they use and visa versa, I looked at both before I baught and liked the way the Futaba worked better than the other brand and have not been let down yet like some of my friends with the other.

This explains all the information currently available for Futaba FASST systems:

With the FASST systems that are currently released, reliability has not been questioned.
