Default T9CAP problems?

Hi

I've a T9CAP sinthetized transmitter for over a year, and to date it hasn't give me any problems.

A few days ago, at the field doing the regular tests prior to a flight, i've notice a lot of interferences. All the airplanes electronics were Futaba and were in good condition. With the antenna closed and the radio a few inches of the airplane, all the surfaces start to "flutter". I've checked all the servos, conections, batery, receiver,...all... and it's all fine!
The transmiter worked great with other airplanes, but in mine, even if I changed the transmitter module to another one, the problems still hapens in my plane.
After a lot of tests and after change receiver, batery and aileron extension cables, the plane looks fine and the range teste were good. So... up to air...
I've been in the air for about 7 minutes and suddenly, the rudder turns all to the right and half elevator all up. The plane starts to do "3d manouvers" and all the controls were locked! I've no radio control!
Latter, at home, i've tested all the airplane electronis and everything was fine!

Could be a radio problem?

I know some friends who had similar probles with the 9ZAP a few years ago...
Now, I'me afraid of the transmitter, and I will no use the airplane electronics in some other plane...

Thanks for your help...

Hi Eduardo,

You mention that the "transmitter worked great with other airplanes", so this would lead me to believe that this is not a transmitter problem. I would look more towards the receiver that you were using. Try swapping this out with another to see if this doesn't take care of your problem.

Default RE: T9CAP problems?

I had changed the receiver, that day at the field. I first have a Futaba Fm receiver that I changed for a Dual Conversion, also Futaba (all the systems in 35 MHz, used in Portugal).

After all the tests I can think about, the only thing I have not changed is the transmitter. Servos, extension leads, switch, transmitter module, batery pack... all changed. Except the radio.

I'm still without flying... fear to crash another plane...
