RE: 14MZ "super" version
We have not been advised by Futaba of Japan of a "Super" version of the 14MZ coming.
The only new 14MZ will be the version that we carry now, but it will come packaged with the TM-14 module and R6014FS receiver.

RE: 14MZ "super" version
The differences in older systems where they had a first release and then a "Super" version were added software features. The 14MZ has the ability to have software changes added by a simple download. There have been a few upgrades to the software, all of which have added features to the system. You could then refer to the latest software version as making the transmitter a "Super" version.

RE: 14MZ "super" version
I have the chance of buying a new 14mz from a hobby shop here in the Uk for a good price it has been in the shop for well over a year.
Is it upgradable with the downloads to bring it up to the latest software release? anything else to check ie battery etc
Also it is the wrong mode so I searched and found it has to be sent to service centre for conversion is this correct.
Thanks For your views

If your transmitter has older software, it's a simple download to get the latest version.
To convert the transmitter mode, it should be sent to the service center for the mode change. That's because more is involved than just moving a spring and throttle ratchet. The transmitter needs to be recalibrated after a mode change.

Bill
Thanks for the info, it is a good price even with converting modes by the service centre, so I may go for it, will the 2.4 module still support 14 chanels?
Thanks Ian
