12FGH 2.4 and 617 receiver problem
Hi there
I am wondering why my 617 receiver cannot recognize the 12FG2.4 radio when I follow the instructions on having it recognize it through the easy link button on the side of the receiver. From the moment I press the button and hold...the solid red light begins to blink, and then goes back to being solid red. Does this receiver not work with this radio?
Also, I was told the 8 channel receivers are only capable of 2048 resolution. Could this be the problem? What is the advantage of 2048?

Looks like I just solved the issue. I actually have to go into the menu, and switch the mode to FAAST 7 Channel from the standard FAAST Multi. Looks like I will have to do this every time I use this particular receiver. That's not too convenient. Looks like the radio is also warning me that the channel order has also been modified when I go back to transmitting in FAAST 7 Channel mode.
