Default 3PKS battery question

I just purchased a 3PKS and have a couple of questions about the Ni-Cd battery. The manual states to charge the battery for 15 hours, but it does not say what the digital read-out should display when the battery is fully charged. What should a fully charged battery read and what is considered low voltage?

Also, the manual states that sometimes you may need to charge and discharge the battery pak 2 or 3 times to get a full charge. How do you discharge the battery pac?

Default RE: 3PKS battery question

When fully-charged, an 8-cell NiCd battery pack can read as high as 12 V. Usually, though, you'll see it above 10 V for quite a while before it drops below that. If the pack gets to about 9.6V or so, you may wish to stop using it and recharge.

You can discharge a battery pack by removing it from the transmitter and putting it on a discharge analyzer, or just turn on the transmitter with the antenna up and allow it to run down.
