I was setting up my 7CAP today. I did not have a plane available and was just putting in the names and setting the timer. After setting a count down timer I decieded to try it out. When I moved the assigned switch nothing happened. Does the reciever need to be on for the timer to work? Did I miss a step somewhere?

The timer is in the transmitter only. You need to make sure that you have the timer turned 'on' and that the proper switch is activated. Please double-check your settings inside the timer menu.
