Hi, I have a 9C that I received from a friend it is set up as mode one, can I change it to mode two myself or do I need to send it in. Thanks George

You can do it yourself, if you're careful. You do have to remove the back and a circuit board to get at the gimbals to make the change to the ratchets and springs. Then you change the software. Please be aware that a "full" conversion also involves the relocation of some switches, but that isn't essential.
