Default 9ZHP Big Problem

Hi

I have a big problem with my T9ZHP transmitter.

The transmitting range is only about 50 meters or so before I start getting severe twitches on all servos/channels.

I have replaced my antenna with a new one but no luck. I have tried with several different TX crystals and different recievers, but the problem persists.

I have checked all connections inside the reciever for the antenna and theres no problems to detect. []

Can anyone help me ?

Im based in Denmark (Europe) so sending it to the US for service is wery expensive, do I have any other options ?

You will need to have your transmitter and/or receivers looked at. We'd not know what the difficulty may be. Range problems can be due to something in the transmitter, something in the receiver, or something in the airborne system's installation.

Thanks for the reply Bax

I have concluded the following by testing it with my brothers transmitter and my TX crystal.

All my recievers are 100% ok - No jitters at all.
All my reciever crystals are 100% ok - testet in several recievers.

I have purchased this Transmitter secondhand, so I don't know how the former owner have handled it.

I have found some kind of grease in the antenna balljoint. (this seems a bit odd to me as the antenna contact must be trough the balljoint as I see it)
I can't seem to disassemble the transmitter enough to get to the ballbjoint from the inside to clean it completely.

After I have cleaned the balljoint as good as it was possible from the outside of the transmitter, it seems my rangeproblems have disapeared.

I have no problems disassembling my transmitter to do repairs myself, so if theres not supposed to be grease in the antenna balljoint, then I would like to know how to clean it properly by disassembling it properly.

Thanks in advance
