A question about my 2 year old 9CAP radio and a problem I just had. I went out to my shop to prep a plane for flying tomorrow and found that my radio has lost all of it's programming. I had 9 different airplanes stored on it, and they're all gone. I have a CamPac as well that I leave in the radio. I re-seated it and found the same problem exists, also the same if I turn the radio on with the CamPac removed.

I can setup the planes again, but the one I'm flying is a jet with several mixes & custom programming, and I simply don't trust that the radio won't do the same thing again.

Any ideas how this can happen?

Other than some kind of hardware failure, the 9C should not change anything in its memory. We'd no know why or how it happened. We can certainly check it out and see if the memory chip is bad.

Thanks Bill, I didn't think that it was a normal occurance. I'll make arrangements to get it serviced.
