Default 8uaps throttle cut issue

Hello,

I have a 8uaf and a 8uaps radio. On the uaf I have no problem getting the throttle cut to work. On the uaps I cannot get the throttle cut to work correctly.

On the uaf, when I hit the throttle cut switch, the throttle barrel moves to a more closed position killing the engine.

On the uaps, when I hit the throttle cut switch, the throttle moves to a more open position.

This happens on the same plane with the same setup......

Is there some kind of different programming on the uaps that is causing this or do I need to send the radio in for service?

Thanks.

Hi GhostRider32,

You'll need to go into your THR FUNC menu and change this from Norm to Reverse, or vice versa, this will correct your problem.

Hold down both Mode keys at the same time while powering on the Transmitter. You will come to the STK MODE page, press the bottom mode key down once and you will be in the THR FUNC menu. This is where you will make your changes.
