I noticed in the 10c manual that the antenna needs to be extended to keep the 72 mhz module from overheating. I am anticipating spending lots of time programming my 12 or so planes and would like to enter most of the data without broadcasting, if possible by removing the module, and I am concerned about possible damage to my transmitter. After entry, fine tuning with my planes operating will need to be done, but I would prefer that the bulk of programming time not be spent broadcasting on 72 mhz to the whole neigborhood! If you remove the transmitter module, you cannot cause damage to the transmitter by having it on for a long period of time. Remove the module and spend as much time as you desire to get your programming done.
