Default Futaba FF7 Programming Problem

Hello Modellers
I have just joined the forum, please can anyone help? I have a Futaba FF7 Transmitter setup in Glider 2F Mode. The model is a full house electric glider with 4 wing servos and two servos for the V tail cabled as follows
CH1 Right Aileron
CH2 V Tail
CH3 Possible Motor Connection?
CH4 V Tail
CH5 Right Flap
CH6 Left Flap
CH7 Left Aileron
The problem is that I am unable to find a solution of being able to control the motor independently from the flaps. In other words I would like to possibly find a way of switching channel 3 between motor and flap control or any other solution to control the motor independantly.
Regards and thanks in anticipation,
Phil Goldsmith

When you mention a Futaba "FF7", are you asking about a 7C transmitter or the old 7U-series transmitter? "FF7" is not used in North America.

Hello Bill,

Thanks for your enquiry. The full model description of the transmitter is FP-T7UPGS.
