Default 9C fail safe

Hi;Trying to figure out the fail safe on this radio! When I shut off the radio with the receiver still on it goes to full throttle.Manual says go to basic and then fail safe?I can find no such setting in the basic which is where the manual says to go!I have searched the FAQ and couldn't find anything there.Just want to make it so if signal is lost will go to idle rather than wide open! Thanks!!

You would need to have your 9C in PCM mode to access Failsafe. It is not available in PPM mode.
