My question is how I can setup an opto-kill switch; assign it to a switch on the radio and which channel on the receiver would be used. Here is my set up on a 7C 2.4 for a 26cc gas airplane.
Channel Function
1 Aileron
2 LH Elevator
3 Throttle
4 Rudder
5 RH Elevator
6 Battery
7 Flaps on sw G

You connect it to channel 6 via a "Y" harness. That's the only open channel. If you want it on a switch, then you'll have to assign it to a switched channel, and likely move one of the other auxiliary functions to another channel.

I moved the battery and flaps to ch 6 on the VR dial with a Y and put the kill switch on ch 7 controlled by toggle switch E
