8UAF flap setup help
My radio system is an FP-T8UAF transmitter with an 8 ch receiver. My model is a GP Piper Cherokee with two aileron servos and two flap servos. I would like to connect the flaps and have them work off 3 position sw "C" with Up = 0%, middle = 50%, and down = 100% flap. The flap servos are installed just like the aileron servos, i.e.; if they were connected with a "Y" connector, they would move in opposite directions.
Ailerons to be either "differential" setup, or just connected with a Y connector to channel 1
I have tried - and failed - to figure this out.
Your assistance is appreciated.

RE: 8UAF flap setup help
Go to this web address and scroll down to the DX7 Radio Ailerons With Flaps. You also need to hookup your flap servos to aY - connector and this plugs into the Aux1 channel. This works. Dave. http://rcaerobats.net/Spektrum/dx_7_main_page.htm

RE: 8UAF flap setup help
The easiest way to do this is by using 2 Offset mixes.
1.) Offset as master to Flap as slave, link On, Switch C in the Center position and make the rates +50%.
2.) Offset as master to Flap as slave, link On, Switch C in the Down position and make the rates +100%.
Having Link On in these two mixes will insure that if you are using a mix for two flap servos, they both will work off this mix .

RE: 8UAF flap setup help
Thanks for the quick response, but I really am a novice at this - I've never even used a mix before. What channels should I plug the two flap servos into?
Is there any other detailed info I would need to get this set properly?
I appreciate your help.
