Hi Guys,
I bought 4 of the new, small 6016HF receivers from Hobby Lobby, to use in small gliders.
I was setting one up in a Blaster DLG with 2 Dymond D47 servos on flaperon, and a HS65HB for elevator. I put in the D47s first and they work perfectly.
When I connected the hs65 it wandered randomly. I could grab the output arm and turn it by hand to wherever I wanted and it would stay there! I've never seen anything remotely like it.
I tried it with 3 different HS65's, 2 used and 1 new. The behaviour was identical.
So I pulled another 6016 out and it works perfectly.
So should I send the receiver back to Hobby Lobby or direct to Futaba USA?
I live in Australia.
Thanks for your advice!
Ken.

Hi Bax
it was purchased from Tower Hobbies in the USA. Apologies for saying Hobby Lobby above.
Do I mail it to the address in your message with a note and copy of receipt?

Yes, that is correct, or you can see our website for more information on sending this in to us since it was purchased from Tower Hobbies.
The link to our page on the Futaba site is:

Then just click on the link "completed service request form"

Hi Bax and Krysta,
I have discovered that my problem is inadvertantly setting the receiver to high speed mode. Once reset to Normal mode, it works normally!
That's a big relief to me.
Thanks for your assistance, and I wonder how many times you'll have this raised as an issue?
Thanks again,
Ken.
