I'm getting back into helis after a few years away from the hobby, and it's time for a new radio.
Can I use the FP-TP-FM transmitter module and a 128DF FM rcvr (from my old T7UHF) and my older S5101 servos with a 9CH? Or is this just old technology now, and it's time to buy all new stuff?
Also can I use my old rate gyro-a G154-with the 9C? Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,
The module, receiver, servos and Gyro, will all work with your 9C radio. You should have no problems at all as long as each of the items is in good working order.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Can you tell me the difference between the 128DF and the newer 148DF, and are the older 5101 servos that much different from the newer 9001 servos. Thanks again, Mike

Mike,
The S5101 servos have 55.6 oz per inch of torque at 4.8V, while the newer S9001 has 54 oz/in at 4.8V and 72 oz/in at 6V. The S9001 is slightly larger also.
The R128DF is the same size and weight as the R127DF, while the R148DF is the same size and weight as the R148DP, which makes it lighter weight and easier to install in a smaller plane.
