Default Rx compatibility with 8UAF Tx.

My 8UAF system came with a FP-R148DF Rx but I would like to know if I can use a FP-R127DF Rx that I have with the 8UAF Tx, and also what is the basic difference between the two Rx's.

Hi Karol,

Yes, you can use the R127DF with the 8U as long as it is on the same channel, or you are using a Synthesized module in the transmitter. You can use any current Futaba or Hitec FM receiver with this, but they have to be the same channel as the module you are using.

Othen than the R148DF having an extra channel, the only difference is some internal circuitry. There is no difference in range between these two receivers.

Sincerely,
