Default Programming conditions for 8FG

This is a repost of my original question. I posted against the original and then the replies did not show as "0". Thanks for the info!!

Really impressed with my new 8FG. I love my 9CAPS, but this can do even more. I'd like to use the conditions, but the manual doesn't give any real examples of an actual setup. I've never used them before but certainly want to. I know it doesn't have them in plane mode, but no problem. I fly all electric and can use the glider section say for my delta EDF or pusher. I actually used the butterfly glider programming in the 9 for my UltraStick 60 with a 4 servo wing. I'd like to have a launch condition with the elevons slightly reflexed for an easier launch and then switch to a normal flying setup. How would I set up these 2 conditions and put them on a single switch? Thanks. (I've only owned Futaba Tx's since starting way back in '88).

Default RE: Programming conditions for 8FG

The 8FG has conditions only in the helicopter programming.

I apologize if no one has answered this for you yet. Let me see if I can help you out. I am not sure if I am 100% on what you are trying to accomplish, but this may help:

I went into Function and set channel 3 to J3, to act as an airplane. So now Ail 1 is channel one, Ail 2 is channel 7. All functions work like an airplane.

Then I went into Butterfly, set both ailerons and Elevator to 100% and set J3 to activate it. I set J3 On position to Symetrical with On in the 10 to 90% middle range.

I did a Pmix with Aileron as Master Elevator as Slave to simulate Elevon, with Link On and the switch Null.

Then I set up a Condition telling J3 that it could not be active with the mix unless Switch A was in the middle and down position.

Now what I get is normal behaviour, unless I flip a switch and then as I give more throttle, the elevator's and ailerons start to move a little giving me a little elevon until my throttle gets to a certain point.
