Hello AnnMArie, I posted about a problem with my 9Z, and since I am going to be sending it in I was wondering if there were any upgrades that can be done to it. It is an Origional 9Z, not WC or WC2. It may be a good time to do it if they are available.

It is cost prohibitive to most users to do the upgrade from a Z to a WC. The cost is roughly $400 and it takes use an enormous amount of labor to do it, for the increase of a few features. If you need those features, then it is something to consider.

We can not change you to a WC2. It is simply not realistic price wise as it requires the replacement of several boards and would cost nearly as much as buying a new transmitter. We can change the LOOK of your radio so it looks like a WC2, but we can not give you its #1 feature, the accelerated PCM frame rate.
