Default programming super 7(uafs) for heli question

I have a Futaba fp-7uafs radio and am trying to set up cyclic to throttle mixing. That way when hard cyclic inputs are given the throttle increases a bit in order to keep the engine from bogging down. First off it seems that there is no preset cyclic/swash to throttle mixing function. That would be no problem if I had access to two programmable mixes. I could mix the aileron to throttle and elevator to throttle and it would work fine. The radio can do two programmable mixes however when in heli 1 or 2 mode it seems the number of mixes is reduced to one. I know it is an old system but in its day it was considered pretty good. It is hard to imagine that a basic cyclic to throttle mix is totally impossible with this radio. Is there any undocumented way to get the transmitter to do this?

If you need more mixes than the transmitter has, you're out of luck. The 7U may not be able to provide you with the complex mixing you're looking for. Helis fliers started using such mixing well after the 7U went out of production.

I don't think what I am talking about is all that complex. It would have of been of use since helicopters were first invented. Unlike Eccpm which did recently come about.

Anyway, as I said, this was such a full featured radio, like the 7c today, I have a hard time imagining I can't get this to work.

The thing is it DOES have the two programmable mixes needed but it SEEMS like it is being reduced to one for the Heli 1 and 2 settings. Why would it drop a mix? One of the reasons I think it is hidden somewhere is that when you set up throttle hold it goes to the gear(ch5) switch. At first I thought I just lost ch5 for this feature but after playing around with the switches I found out that ch5 was remapped to the p.mix switch on the other side. The 50p book made no mention of this remapping. This is why I am hopping this other mix is buried in there somewhere that isn't mentioned in the book.

There are no other available programmable mixers than the one you already know about when you are in heli mode. The software has only so much ability, and the heli software is already using several mixes just to perform the heli tasks. That only left one free programmable mix. In aircraft mode, you do have another programmable mix, but then you don't have the more-complex mixes that are used in the heli functions.

The same thing applies to other transmitters, as well. The 8U has only two programmable mixes in heli mode, but seven in aircraft mode.
