I apologize if this has been covered in another post. There are just too many pages to go through.
I am a beginner, flying only electric planes, using the 8FG Air.I need a kill switch that I can flip so that the throttle cannot be inadvertentlyadvanced if bumpedwhen handling the airplane with the LiPo battery connected. I have one plane that gets its receiver power from the BEC, the other has a 4.8V NiMH receiver pack.
As I said, I am a beginner. So far, all I've done is use standard settings without making any settings changes. I've been reading the manual, but it just isn't clicking for some reason. Could anyone tell me how to accomplish the kill switch?

LNK - THR CUT
Pull down the thr. stick, set ACT to ON and chose a SW (I usually use SF as I fly MODE 2)
Thats should do it. But if you activate the switch with the thr. stick high the THR CUT wont be activated until you pull down the stick.

Okay, I found Ricoalonso's solution using a p-mix and it now works with one modification (Y axis +100).
I am using the SF switch since it's a two-way switch and well placed for the killswitchfunction.
However, I would still rather use the Throttle Cut on the SF switch since it doesn't take up one of the 5p-mix slots.
Keep in mind that these are electrics, so I don't need toworry aboutan idle speed
Help, anyone?

My Feedback: (11)
I used a "Motor Glider" as the Model Type.
You want to use the Throttle Cut function in the Linkage Menu. I have the Throttle function set to J3 and trim to T3. I went into the Throttle Cut section and set the Throttle Cut function to SF, and set the "ON" position so that when all switches point away, I'm ready for takeoff. Pull the switch and the throttle is fixed at the low position. You must flip the switch forward and then arm the speed control before the throttle will operate.

Hey, Bax...
Well, the 8fg Ihave doesn't have "Motor Glider" as a model type.
I updated to 2.1
If I use Glider, there is no Throttle Cut.
Still stuck.
