Programming Help - 9C

I'm trying to set up a switch to provide an up elevator offset to better trim a plane for landing. The plane is set up with dual elevator servos using channels 2 and 5, with a program mix with ch 2 as the master and ch 5 as the slave. The trim offset is set up as a program mix using offset as the master and channel 2 as the slave. When the switch is turned on for the trim offset, only the elevator on channel 2 responds. Both link and trim are turned on for the elevator ch 2/ch 5 program mix. Why won't channel 5 follow what channel 2 is doing?

RE: Programming Help - 9C

An Offset mix will not give you a Link Function which is what you would need to make both of the servos react to this mix. You simply need to do a second mix with master as Offset and this time Gear as the slave, set it to the same switch and the same percentage.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
