Default I need help identifying an engine

I have a large gas engine I bought from the son of a deceased flyer, engraved on the case is 75108 RSS made in Canada. It has a 20X14 prop on it and an electronic ignition system. It appears to be larger than my G-62, longer stroke and maybe bigger bore if the outside of the engine is any indicator. The carb is large also. Does anyone have any idea what this engine might be?

Thank you R C ignition, you repaired my G-62 a couple of years ago. I'm thinking of putting the Quadra on a Bud Nosen Gere Sport but it would really be overkill. Of course the Gere Sport might have verticle characteristics with a 75 on it. I think I may just put my G-38 on the Gere Sport, do you have an electronic ignition system for the G-38?

No longer able to get ignitions from anyone, no more conversions....
C&H is closed and RC EXL does not answer E mails for orders...I think Wrongway 'RC might have some DIY conversions....

Wow, what happened? Is it because so many gas engines are coming with EI no one wants to supply the magneto engines? What are you doing now?

I do not no what happened to Xu L. I have sent him money for a small order.Maybe we are just to small for him. Got fly today second DL: was turning a 20x6 at 7800 idle at 1000.Side carb,It is in a Ultra Stick Light.Goes good, still cannot do torque rolls.I have a lot of machined parts left for conversions,I can not do them.
Still can not hand crank a engine.Flew my new 2.4 oz ignition same high output amp board as older C&H. I will send you one.
I have been sorting and throwing away things. Must of had two bushel of spark plug leads.

With CH closed and RC Exl not answering calls I have a feeling there's a change in the wind we aren't going to like. Someone now has a market just the way they wanted it.

That is tough, I hate to hear of another small business going under, you did right by me. I hope you get better and find another business to run if that's what you want to do. It seems that all the new engines are EI now but there are a lot of older mag engines floating around. I bet they would be converted if there is a way to do it.

I am having the same problem.

Thinking about taking what I have left off my site and keeping them for my future use. ???

I hadn't thought about selling it. What are you offering? I didn't even know what it was until yesterday.

I'm not a machinist but I have friends who are.
