Default engine selection

hi all just receved my hanger9 funtana 125 lastnight.im just starting out into gas the specs call for a 20cc motor has any one used a 26to30cc size. i saw a guy use a dle 30cc on youtube look's like it was ok i much rather get a nay or ya here.

Look at the weights and measurements of the respective engines. If they are close, it probably won't matter. You will be running throttled back most of the time. Also check the prop/ground clearance for the recommended sizes in the takeoff attitude. Funtanas aren't built to be speed planes. My old Funtana 90 was built pretty light. Might need to reinforce the firewall and brace the tail surfaces for a larger engine.
