DA Ignition
Hi All,
Can anyone tell me the do's and dont's in regard to the mounting of a DA Igniton Box.
The mounting lugs on each end of the ignition box, can it be secured only by these lugs or will they break after time?
Does it have to be soft mounted?
Is extra cooling necessary?

RE: DA Ignition
They should be soft mounted. Put a good wad of foam behind it and drill four holes on in the mounting area to except zip ties top left bottom and right. Slit fuel tubing and place it on the ties where it bites into the box to act as a cushion to stop rubbing. Snub up to hold, but loose enough to move about a bit..but not too loose. I have not have three different ignitions faill so far... nock on wood mouted this way. Mount on right side or top to keep away from muffler. Mine are under cowl with the usual air flow. I'm at work..so no picture.
