Silly question........I have an MLD 28CC installed on a Giant Super Sportster. Today while trying to start it, I noticed the prop hub was cracked all the way through and don't know how it happened. What could cause this ?

You need a new hub.

I think there were so bad hubs on these. There was just not enough material there.
