MVVS or Evolution ???..

Guys...i'm looking for good quality engines for my ESM warbirds....settling on these two brands...are both brand parts interchangeble?..are they all basically the identical engines , albeit one red & one blue?.
Which are the 'better' manufacturer to go for...russian or US vers?.
Namely the 26gx & 26ifs vers?..
Are they even good engines anyway?..better than the chinese selection?

Both are excellent brands from the same company. you are right, they are significantly better products with significantly better attitudes from the factory than anything the Chinese will sell.
The link that WY8E gave is definitley your best choice of supplier for them. Pe knows the product inside out and gives some of the best product support I have seen.
the 26 can be a litlte tricky to tune at first but once you get it in the sweet spot you will find out what great performance feels like.

the 26 has no pitts muffler. It has the 3270 side muffler.
The 50cc pitts just came out. and the 26/30 or 40 will probably be next.
Bisson has them for 26cc though.

Horizon assembles the Evolution brand engines themselves, using MVVS parts made to their specification. Bisson makes the mufflers for Horizon.

They are MVVS agents. Excellent service I have the MVVS 26 and i can say the more i use it the better it's getting Great Engine

Thankyou Styk!!...i'll be buying myself one to try very soon!...what exhaust are you using?...what are those 'straight' through/ bend exhausts like!?...don't they effect power?..thought they needed back pressure?.
The only other silencers i see are those little barrel type with two outlets.
I thinks its better paying the extra £10 for the performance type 26?..angled plug & carb venturi.

Puffinmodels is a great place to shop. I have bought Bambula and Xoar props from them. They are not selling engines outside UK. Maybe it's MVVS dealers policy.

There is no law problem. That is why I can ship worldwide. You cannot prevent people across the globe from buying in a shop in Holland.

Is this a true fact about MVVS 26-ifs-sp ????
When new for option , you can remove six headbolts & rotate the cylinder head 90 degree's so the exhaust sits at the back of the engine??.
