Default SPE 43

I just recently received my SPE 43 back from service, and while it was away I finally decided what plane I wanted to put it into. I chose the Great Planes Giant Big Stik since I have never had a stik before. On my second flight the stock muffler broke off at the mounting bolts and was lost forever, but luckily for me I had a brand new Bennet muffler i had picked up from the clearance table at the local hobby store.

On the ground the motor sounds great and has awesome transition, but as soon as it is in the air it starts to pop and run rough. It popped a little with the stock muffler but nothing like it is doing now, the stock muffler was a single exhaust port, while the Bennett muffler is a dual port exhaust.

With this new muffler do I just need to lean up the high end to fix the popping and rough sound? Or do I just need to purchase the original muffler?

Thanks

Keep up with where you're at on the needles and try leaning just a little and see what happens
