New DLE30 stalling
I just installed a new DLE 30 in my Pilot RC 26% Extra. It starts and runs very well for the most part. However, out of about 10 flights, it has deadsticked on at least half of them. Everything sounds great, and then it will bog down and remain like that at any throttle setting and then stall. It has also stalled while inverted and vertical. I am going to go over my plumbing tonight. I have included some pic's of my plug, which looks odd because it is carbonized on 1/2 of the element, and my cowling because I am curious as to whether it may be overheating. I know there have been prob's with the stock plug, and I am going to replace it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have done quite a bit of reading in some of the other threads, but I couldn't find anything that helped me. Thanks.
Some info about my set-up:
93 octane gas with Lawnboy at 30:1
Xoar 18x8 prop
High speed needle peaks at 7760 RPM
Low speed needle: Quick transition, great Idle, burbles a little in bottom third of range
Pops choked on second flip, starts unchoked on third or fourth flip

RE: New DLE30 stalling
What pickup/clunk are you using, Replace the standard clunk with one from Walbro, will stop air in the fuel system. Gas foams up really good no matter how much foam around the tank.
