Default Can I break-in an engine using a tuned pipe???

Hello guys, I was just wondering if it would be good, bad or it doesn't matter if I break-in an engine using its intended tuned pipe? Or should I break it in just open bore or with just the header... How is the best way to break it in given the fact I don't have a regular muffler for it...
Thanks!!

Of course you can, as long as you are in control of the throttle. Train the engine to work, without overloading it for anything more than a few seconds. When the engine limbers up, gradually increase load duration.
In flight of course.
