sku gas engine

hello every one a buddy of mine has a sku 26 cc gas engine that is giving trouble and he was just starting in gasoline it will not pump fuel to the carb last time we messed with it we had it hitting but it woud not start run if we use a starter it will start run the low end is not working on the carb he has tryed everything rebuild the carb, cleaned it, new fuel lines we have blowed it out and rebuilt it a second time it did ok when new but the fuel mix to break in the engine was way to rich to what we thought its been troube every scence

Which particular SKU 26? there are a couple of them.
Maybe a photo of the engine and its packaging will go a long way to helping identify any specific issues it may have.
Fuel, Air, Spark, Compression - get all those in the right place and it will run.
set the carb needles to 1 3/4 turns open, check the spark actually occurs at the right place, check the plug gap is right (Both these things may be variable depending on exactly which engine it is). Check the ignition battery is fully charged.
If all else fails - swear at it a lot.
If it was ok when new, and now doesn't play nice - what changed in the meantime?
