Best for a Fuji 32
What would be the best aerobatic aircraft with a Fuji 32a? I want a 30cc Pilot rc aicraft but the 32a is to big to fit in the cowling... Would the Greatplanes Edge 540 27% or Hangar 9 Extra 260 27% be to big for the motor?

RE: Best for a Fuji 32
Small planes start out life with limited wing area. Wing area combined with weight greatly establishes how the aircraft is going to fly. Too little area and too much weight makes for something far less than enjoyable and quite prone to an early demise when flown incorrectly for the weight.
If the engine was going into a floater then not so much of a problem. If an aerobat then things are getting sticky. If a warbird I'd be having some negative vibes.

phase3f16 a Fuji engine is not a good choice for a 3D plane. You generally need a light powerful engine for that type of plane like the DLE 30 mentioned before.

The best choice in my opinion, the 12ft Telemaster Kit!! 17oz per sq ft of wing loading. Much better than the Cub. Perfect plane for your boat anch.....grrr plane engine.

i had mine bolted to the shop door for a while , it does a decent job keeping air moving around in the shop, and it annoys the crap out of my neighbor

You guys are brutal in here. Actually I'd bet it would be a nice match for an "old school" 1/4 scale Nosen Citabria built on the light side. The relatively short nose moment of the aircraft/model is a workable match up for the heavier engine. Some good ole' basic aerobatic fun while still offering Cub like floatage.. What more could you ask for on a lazy sunday afternoon?[8D]

RE: Best for a Fuji 32
I have a fuji 32 in a hanger 9 p51 160 size and a mate has a fuji 32 in the hanger 9 p47 160 size and also in the world models spitfire gs.these engines fly these planes very well.Im currently putting a fuji 34(the fuji 32replacement) into world models zero gs. we find that the fuji work well in warbirds, mainly due to the weight and the rear exhaust.we do find the fuji's every reliable and easy to use.I had my first fuji 32 in CMPro extra 72" it fly it but it wasnt great.(required sopme power on landing due to how heavy the plane ended up).hence why it ended up in the warbirds. I have spare Fuji 32 and it will be going into the ESM pc21 that i currenlty have sitting in my shed.Fuji's are my preferred engine for warbirds but when i built my extras and Sbach the DLE went in to those, less weight more power. If you wont put a engine into a piloit rc plane i would stick to the DLE or one of the better performance engines

I got into the Fuji mode a few years back, I found that I liked the 43 best of all as far as power vers weight. They are nice engines, but all heavy and underpowered compared to whats on the market today.
