Default DA 150 carb is spitting fuel

This is a well used DA150 engine that has run well for over 1 yr. Suddenly last weekend we noticed that the carb is spitting lots of fuel. Even when I fuel up the tank, fuel runs out of the carb...very strange...The engine starts but wont sustain rpm. What could have happened?

Thanks

Default RE: DA 150 carb is spitting fuel

If fuel drips out of a carb there is a problem with the metering meedle height. Since the engine is well used obtain a carb kit for a Walbro WB-27 carb and go through it. Something is holding that needle open.
