Default Q52M

Looking for opinions on the Quadra Q52M engine.

Have a TF P-51 giant scale with a US41 in it.
Not enough power.
Is the Q52M a good engine?

G-62 seems to be the engine of choice. I have seen DA85's, but those guys are nuts.

I hate to be the fly in this ointment, but, I had a TF Mustang, that when I originally built it I used a Fox 3.2 for the motovator. With that engine the Mustang was really fast. I decided I needed the the Fox for another airplane, so I thought I would put my old reliable Q-52 in it's place, turned out to be a bad move. The Q-52 out weighed the Fox by exactly 1#, and that is not what a Mustang needs, more nose weight. I have seen the US 41 in 2 different Mustangs, and they were very under powered, the Q-52 was not a bad power match for the Mustang, but the nose weight is not acceptable in my opinion. To get the balance right you will need lots of tail weight, which equats to a heavier airplane, that everyone knows is not what a Mustang needs.

Sorry, to have to throw water on your choice of engines, but I'm just relaying my experience, OK?
