fuel tubing lenght
Is 12" of tubing is too long for a DA50?
I would like to put the fuel tank at the CG but I'm not sure if 12" is too far from the engine
4" of tubing in the tank and 8" for the rest
thanks!!!

RE: fuel tubing lenght
A gas engine carb reasonably well set up will draw fuel for distances in excess of 4'. They will draw fuel from a container 3' to 4' below the aircraft, and pump fuel several feet straight up.
12" is well within the ability of the carb to do its job. Unlike a glow engine and gas carb has a pump and is not dependant on tank location for effective operation.
