That's the way to go, buy the eng first, THEN decide what to put it into!
There's already a msg thread on the same basic subject....
What Aircraft are you installing your DLE20
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10197884/tm.htm
Lots of airframes in that thread to give ya ideas.
I put my first DLE20 into an AeroWorks PROX260 Freestyle (90 size)
It's light weight, well built, and tons of fun to fly!

Buy both together & get $20 off the combo.

I've had a lot of good luck and fun with the Nitroplanes offerings and they are quite cheap. The instructions are terrible, and the support is only fair, but I like the airplanes they sell. And you can't beat their prices. The "Marathon" might be a good airplane for a DLE 20 if you want an aerobatic ship.

After looking at that airplane, you can click on "Nitro Gas Airplanes" on the left, then select the engine size/airplane you want to look at....
I presently have four of their gas airplanes flying, and one electric. (whoops! Did I say "electric"? Shame on me...)

http://www.valleyviewrc.com/estore/v...-pro-blue.html great for a DLE 20 if you are into wild extreme 3d... ive deemed it "unbreakable" i did a full power dive straight down into a blender, and it passed the test several times....

I have the Twist 40 with an old Fox .78 on it and I love it!
I had the Twist 60 too, but I sold it to a friend that needed a plane to practice with before moving on to bigger, more expensive aerobatic ships. They do fly great, but will often break the fuselage right behind the canopy on a hard landing. I've never broken my Twist 40 but many others have. I broke the Twist 60 fuselage twice when a gust of wind picked it up after landing. On the subsequent stalled crash landing, the fuse broke right at that weak spot behind the canopy. I put a different tail wheel assembly on it after that, and it quit ballooning after landing if a gust hit it. The tail sits very low to the ground with the stock tail wheel assembly, and seeing as how they will land at walking speed, it doesn't take much of a gust to blow it back into the air if the tail sits really low.
Don't know why, but they quit making the Twist 150.

The larger H-9 Twist is another good candidate. Absolutely breakable

have the same potential affliction.
If your an incompetent 3D flyer &/or don't reinforce the fuse before flying, then this
is what WILL happen to any of the 3 sizes of H9 Twist's, just a matter of time otherwise.......
Above is Gibbs Twist;

Then there's some like this one (crazyflyboy30 ).......

How many 'issues' can you count on that Twist 40?

Was tons of fun to fly!
H9 stopped production of the Twist 3D 150 due most likely to poor sales.
H9 also axed their Ultra Stick 60 & 120 series as well.
I got my Twist 3D 150 last December, NIB for dirt cheap......plus 3 inches of dust NC.

You can still order the parts to assemble a Twist 3D 150, but it'll cost ya around $425.00 + shipping!<big ouch!>
