Does anyone know if there are any other sources for Taurus TS 52 engines other than Taurus itself? I am looking for a Taurus 52 engine.

I bought mine from Taurus. I don't think there are any other dealers for them. Kind of like Brison engines I believe. You can Email them or call them thought and find out.?.. Southgate Aero is the Main Company btw.. Regards BobH.

This is Bill Oberdieck's email. He is ONEHELLOFAGUY and will do everything he can to take care of your needs. He is the guy I bought mine from. 'Course he runs TAURUS engines I believe.

I e-mailed Bill last week for cost on a twin and got a response from someone at Southgate Aero saying the engines are temporarily unavailable. They did not say why. If any one knows whats up, please inform us.

Bill is the only guy in the shop, and Taurus is the only place to purchase a Taurus engine. Hope all is okay!

I have an engine in for repair and I have not been able to get them to fix it and send it back, I am looking for a new or almost new TS 52 so I can fly my plane.

I just talked to Bill O in June when he was in Iowa for a fun fly . He didnt mention anything about any problems or stopping his business, this concerns me a little . Any way i do have a NIB TS 52 with all papers and receipts. I have only picked the motor up to look at it and put it back in the box. I was planning on putting this on a Texas Hurricane this winter< now i want a Kange Monocoupe . I am thinking of selling the motor if your interested still havent made my mind up. Would be asking just what i paid for it $560. 00 I had to wait 3 months for mine from the time i ordered it last winter. If interested contact me .

Bill gets a bit backed up. They are a small operation. Last time I was talking to him, he had some (serious) health problems also that was slowing things down. He had a blockage that was fixed. He is on his way to recovering but (maybe) not be as fast as he used to be. This was about 2 months ago.
